Miley Cyrus [ tickets ], David Archuleta [ tickets ] and The Cheetah Girls [ tickets ] will be among the performers scheduled to appear on NBC's live broadcast of the "82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" from New York City, according to a press release.

The parade, which marks the beginning of the holiday season, will feature eight new stages this year. Other artists from stage, screen, sports and music will include Trace Adkins, Kristen Chenoweth, the cast of the Broadway Musical "Hair," Harajuku Girls, Lang Lang, Darius Rucker, James Taylor and Andy Williams, among others.

In addition to the classic floats and cartoon balloons, this year's parade will feature a tribute to artist Keith Haring-- in the form a giant balloon based on Haring's 1987 paper drawings, "Figure with Heart."
