'America's Got Talent' goes live

"America's Got Talent" will move from television screens to the stage for a one-night-only live show Oct. 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, according to a press release.

The production will feature this year's top five competitors, includingthis season's winner, who will be announced on the show's Oct. 1 finale.

Jerry Springer will host the live show, which also will feature a special guest performance from season-two winner Terry Fator.

This year's top five performers include opera singer Neal E. Boyd; Nuttin But Strings, a hip-hop violin duo comprised of brothers Damien and Tourie Escobar; soul singer Queen Emily; Texas singer Donald Braswell; and Eli Mattson, a pianist-singer from Chicago.
