Foo Fighters [ tickets ] fans may have arrived at last night's show (7/29) wondering if the band would be able to live up to its reputation. After all, only 15 days ago Dave Grohl told press that the group's Red Rocks Amphitheater concert would have to be rescheduled for September due to an undisclosed illness.

"As much as it kills us to postpone shows, I'm in no shape to deliver the kind of balls-out performances that you guys deserve," he reportedly said.

No doubt the audience (including Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith, who was spotted at the show) was relieved to see the band intact as the lights came up on the stage. Grohl was obviously feeling a lot better, leading a powerful performance complete with acoustic songs.
