3 Doors Down Plays Yankee Stadium

3 Doors Down is scheduled to play the 2008 State Farm Home Run Derby July 14 at Yankee Stadium. The Major League Baseball event precedes the 79th All-Star game, which will be played at the New York stadium the following evening, according to a press release.

One of the two songs played at the Home Run Derby will be broadcast live by ESPN, which also used the band's music as a complement to its productions throughout the month of June.

3 Doors Down kicks off its summer tour with Staind and Hinder today (7/9) at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in the St. Louis area.
