Amy Winehouse [ tickets ] was taken to a hospital Monday (6/16) after fainting at her north London home, a spokesperson for the singer confirmed to reporters.

An assistant to Winehouse's manager reportedly caught the singer as she fell. Though Winehouse quickly recovered from the fainting spell, her father took her to the hospital as a precaution. At the hospital, Winehouse underwent precautionary tests and was kept overnight for observation. Tests so far have been proven inconclusive.

The 24-year-old performer is expected to perform later this month in London's Hyde Park at a gig marking the 90th birthday of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
