The Cure Previews 13th Album On The 13th
The Cure will release four singles--one a month beginning May 13--as the band readies its 13th studio album, scheduled for a Sept. 13 release, according to the band's website. The as-yet-untitled set will be the band's first album of new music since 2004's "The Cure."
The May 13 single, "The Only One," will be released in both digital and physical formats, and will include the b-side, "NY Trip." The second single, "Freakshow," will be released June 13, and will include the b-side "All Kinds of Stuff." Neither b-side will appear on the album. The July 13 and Aug. 13 singles will be announced shortly, according to the site.
The Cure's US tour launches May 9 at the Patriot Center in Washington, DC.
