Veteran singer Tina Turner , who recently popped back up on the general public's radar thanks to her performance at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony, is reportedly eyeing a US tour this fall.

Turner, who is 68 and hasn't toured in seven years, revealed her plans while taping an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in Las Vegas last Saturday (4/26), according to the Associated Press. The outing will launch Oct. 1 in Kansas City, and tickets will begin hitting the box office May 12, she said.

Both Turner and fellow vocalist Cher were on hand for the taping, which was shot in front of a crowd of 4,000 people, and is scheduled to air May 8.
