Arcade Fire, Superchunk To Play Free Concerts For Obama

April 23, 2008 10:04 AM
Superchunk and Arcade Fire are scheduled to perform May 1-2 at Barack Obama's early vote rallies in North Carolina. The "Change Rocks" concerts are part of Obama's statewide push to encourage voters to take advantage of North Carolina's first One Stop Early Voting process, which allows voters who are not registered or who have never voted before to register and vote all at once.

The May 1 concert will be held in Greensboro at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Pavilion parking lot. The May 2 show takes place in Carrboro at the Carrboro Town Commons. Tickets to both shows are free, however they are required for admission. Visit www.nc.barackobama.com for ticket information.
