Miley Cyrus Inks First Book Deal
Miley Cyrus signed a deal with Disney to write a book about her rise to teen idol superstardom. The "Hannah Montana " star will share her story, which spans from her Southern roots in Tennessee to the excitement of record-breaking triumphs in television, music and film.
According to a Disney Book Group statement, the 15-year-old Cyrus is expected to reveal an inspiring story in which her family--especially her mother, Leticia--helps her navigate the spotlight and encourages her to grow up well-rounded. The book, which will feature never-before-seen photos, family stories and a look at Cyrus' inner circle of loved ones, is due out in early spring 2009.
