Athfest Announces 2008 Headliners
The 12th annual Athfest in downtown Athens, GA, will eature headliners Dark Meat , Modern Skirts and Dubconscious .
The 17-piece psychedelic rock collective Dark Meat will perform June 20, the first night of the festival. Modern Skirts, currently in the studio with Cracker's David Lowery, headlines June 21 with Dubconscious closing out the weekend on June 22.
More than 150 bands and artists are expected to perform over the course of the weekend, with most performances free of charge. Athfest also includes among its activities a juried artisan market, the Flagpole Music Awards show, KidsFest and more.
