Queen, Deep Purple Concerts Screened At Theaters Nationwide
Queen and Deep Purple hit the big screen April 28 with the one-night only showing of two concerts at movie theaters nationwide, according to a press release.
The movie features Queen at a 1981 Montreal concert, which was to be the only performance by Queen that was ever shot on film. The Deep Purple concert was filmed in 2006, when the band headlined the 40th Montreux Festival. The two concerts have been digitally re-mastered and newly mixed for heightened picture and sound quality, according to the statement. A list of theaters running the film can be found at thebiggerpicture.us/concerts.
