Country star Dierks Bentley has added a handful of new shows to the spring portion of his ongoing tour as he gets ready to drop a new greatest-hits collection on fans. The singer faces the busiest stretch of his current schedule this month and next, with 20 cities on the calendar through the end of May, and he has more than 40 shows set through summer, with additions to the outing arriving on a regular basis.

With a new album right around the corner, hip-hop trailblazers The Roots have added a slew of dates to their North American tour, including a hometown festival gig in Philadelphia. The group's outing, which launched last month, now includes a lengthy stretch of show-opening performances Erykah Badu, as well as several major music festival appearances.

Indie-rockers The Von Bondies are returning from a three-year hiatus with a spring headlining tour and a new studio album titled "Love, Hate and Then There's You." The Detroit band kicks off the outing May 15 in Chicago, and will hit a total of 14 cities through early June.

Animated death-metal outfit Dethklok will mount a headlining tour early this summer as it continues to support its debut album. The cartoon group--which stars in the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim program "Metalocalypse"--will kick off the trek June 2 in Portland, OR. Joining the animated rockers on the 27-city trip will be metal acts Chimaira and Soilent Green.

New albums arriving in stores today include Mariah Carey 's "E-MC2," Miley Cyrus' "The Best of Both Worlds Concert," which features the Disney star performing as both herself and her alter ego Hannah Montana, Rush's "Snakes & Arrows Live," Black Francis' "Svn Fingers" and The Kooks' "Konk."
